This is another new sheet metal item for 2006. Made as close as possible to the original. The section where the radius of the bottom of the tailgate sits is flat with two 90 degree bends. The radius would have required special tooling. This was not a feasible option due to tooling cost. Therefore, the drain holes were located toward the rear of the rig to accommodate water drain. The upper section attaches to the rear cargo area by tucking neatly under or over existing material. This part works fine and looks great. |
